WSI Teaching

today in my WSI class we found out what we are going to be teaching to the class. we have to teach five times and the last one we have to make it for someone with a disability. I have to teach combined arm and leg action on front, exit skill assessment, back crawl open turn, and breaststroke turn. I am kind of nervous to teach. I am looking forward to being able to have this teaching experience.

How to do video for tech well

 Hey everyone over the weekend I started my video on how to kick a soccer ball. I started editing my videos and putting them all together. I am going to have to make some more videos so it all goes together. I am having trouble with putting music on some of my slides but I have time to figure it out. I can not wait to see what the final video looks like. 

Levels of learning how to swim

 Hey everyone in my water safety instruction (WSI) class we got into groups and talked about the different levels in swimming. we talked about Levels 1 -5. so for Parent and child aquatic level 1 is parents learn how to safely work with their child in the water. Parent and child aquatics level 2 is building on the skills introduced in level 1. Participants improve on these skills and learn more advanced skills in level 2. Learn-to-swim level 1 (introduction to water skills) participants start developing positive attitudes, effects swimming habits and safe practice in and around the water. Learn-to-swim level 2 (fundamental aquatic skills) is Participants further develop simultaneous and alternating arm and leg actions on the front and back, laying the foundation for future strokes. 

The three basic listing modes

 Hey everyone today in topics of health class we talked about a key to a good relationship like getting to know yourself, becoming more accepting of yourself. we talked about there are three basic listening modes competitive, passive, and active. Competition is combative, listening happens when we are more interested in promoting our own point of view. Passive is attentive, listening occurs when we are genuinely interested in hearing and understanding the other person's point of view. Active is reflective, listening is active in confirming our understanding before responding with our own new message.
